Ihor Palytsia, the founder of «United Together» Foundation

Ihor Palytsia was born on the 10th December 1972 in Lutsk. He studied at Secondary School Nr. 18 (now it is Gimnasium Nr. 18).

In 1994 he graduated from Lesia Ukrainka Volyn State University (now it is Lesia Ukrainka East-European National University) with a degree in “History and Law”.

Mr. Palytsia held the post of a director of common Ukrainian-Latvian venture “Maveks-L”, was at the head of “Naftokhimik Prykarpattia” JSC, and an administrative board of “Ukrnafta” JSC.

In 2004 he became an honored economist of Ukraine.

In October 2007 Ihor Palytsia was elected as people's deputy of Ukraine, and as a secretary of the Economic Policy Committee of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

As a patriot of his country, Mr. Palytsia has always defended the government's position, participated in draughting bills and supported bills to introduce economic and social reforms, assisted in the intensification of democratic processes.

In June 2011 Ihor Palytsia founded “New Lutsk” Foundation that as of the 1st of January 2016 expanded its activities within the Volyn region, and changed the title into «United Together».

In 2011 he was elected as the Head of the Supervisory Board of Lesia Ukrainka Volyn National University.

On the 6th of May 2014 by the Decree of the Acting President of Ukraine was appointed as a Head of Odessa Regional State Administration.

On the 26th of November 2015 Ihor Palytsia was elected as a Head of Volyn Regional State Council.
